ANNIE'S FREE EASTER CARDS

Easter is the festival commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, as well as the main Christian Feast. It is always celebrated on a Sunday between March 22 and April 25, which is why it is called the movable feast. Scholars believe the name came from Eastre, the Anglo-Saxon name of a Teutonic goddess of spring and fertility, to whom was dedicated a month corresponding to April. Her festival was celebrated on the day of the vernal equinox. These festival traditions include the Easter rabbit, a symbol of fertility and colored Easter eggs painted bright colors to represent spring and used in egg rolling contest or given as gifts, Easter cards, and now Easter Ecards are available to celebrate the holiday.

How to Dye Easter Eggs:
Gather masking tape, scissors, hardboiled eggs, food coloring, 1/2 cup water per color, 1 teaspoon vinegar per color. Cut out shapes like circles, squares, diamonds, moons, hearts.  Once eggs have cooled from cooking, put tape on eggs.  Press tape firmly.  Boil water and add 1 teaspoon vinegar and 20 drops of food coloring per cup.  Dip the eggs into the boiling water for 5 minutes or until satisfied with color.  Once eggs are dry, remove tape.
